Heya!
We were asked to put some more band bio here, so I'll try to write something down for ya. Nick! Correct me if I'm wrong here, ok?!
We started out as a tribute to the Sex Pistols, way back in December 94. The line up at that time was me, Clint on lead vocals, Nick Cee on bass, Johnny-O on guitar, Felcher Wheel a.k.a. The Mad Professor on guitar and Rahl on drums. We got out gigging real quick, after just a months rehearsal (once a week, mind you) and got quite arep for being a wild stage show. The first song we ever wrote was "thieves, liars and politicians". I wrote the lyrics, handed them over to Felcher and he wrote some music to it. Then the whole band contributed in arranging it. (I'll try posting it for ya later, along with some covers.) Our first demo was called "The Sex Pop Tapes". (Yes, it was on tape. Burning cd's werent possible at the time, ya know?)
Felcher was brilliant on the guitar, but unbearable (at the time, he's just sooo much easier going now, and doesn't drink as much as he used to which may have had something to do with the whole... ehrrrrmmm... thing) as a person. So after having talked to him on several occassions, he got sacked. And John L. Undell entered the band. The line up at this time was otherwise the same.
So. We began writing our own material, as we found it much more rewarding to play our own songs. And I seriously can't remember the name of the next demo (still on tape) but this is where we start naming all our demos something with the word "shithead"... And if my memory serves me right, we couldn't really get things going in the studio until we took off our clothes and played in our briefs... Seriously, we did! And suddenly it all worked. (Strange creatures, I know. But that's how it was...)
Some of the songs on that demo was "No. 1", "Prostitute", "Die!", "Foulmouth" and "Good Kick". I'll try to remember to post some of them later.
We usually pulled about 300, but the largest audience we ever played for was 971 (plus guest lists). And they ALL came to see US, as we were the only band that night.
Then Nick took off to Japan for two years and some turmoil turned up. First John L. quit. Then Rahl qiut. Then Johnny-O. Hans Gee entered. Ego T. Superstar entered. Johnny-O re-appeared. Then quit again.
And so I ran into John L. at the mall and asked him and he was all for it. And here we are today. With me, Clint on lead vocals, John L. and Ego T. on guitars and backing vocals, Nick on bass and hans Gee on drums. (I know I've forgot about a third demo, but I really can't remember what that was called or when we recorded it. Who was playing what and who wrote what and stuff like that... So I simply left it out.)
Anyway. Here we are. With our latest demo, "Shithead Mono DeLuxe". Eager to record the next one and to come play for you all!!!
Love us! 'Cuz we all love you all!!!
Later, friends!
